Does a broken Relationship with their mother affect how men live or view life?
Im just wondering…after reading articles from prison inmates…most of their problems stem from the relationshiup with their mom. Do you believe this is the case? I also see guys who cheat on their wives…a lot of them in interviews say that their mom was not thre for them as a child. Could this be true?
I think it may have something to do with but there are many other things that shapes ones view on life or the lifestyle one chooses to live.
I know in my case.. when arguing with my husband, he will throw in there that I come from divorced parents therefore that is all I know and I have no morals and values.. blah blah blah.. whereas he comes from parents that have been married 30 + years. What he fails to point out is that his mother is disrespected by his father on a daily basis and chooses to put up with it and be a victim time and time again. I am not the same person as his mother is, thank god.. and if he is looking for someone to verbally and mentally abuse, then he picked the wrong gal.
Sorry for venting.. where was I.. oh yes, to answer your question, yes, I believe the relationship one has with their mother does, to a certain extent, shape their views on life in general.
